Gracie Barra’s GBF Program is designed to introduce women to Jiu-Jitsu in a safe, welcoming, and empowering environment. Whether you’re completely new or returning to the mats, our structured classes are built to support your growth every step of the way.
The GBF Program offers a supportive and inclusive introduction to Jiu-Jitsu for women, focusing on core techniques while building confidence and preparing students to progress into more advanced classes like GB1, GB2, and GB3.
Led by certified instructors, GBF provides a structured and positive environment that encourages women to challenge themselves physically and mentally. It’s more than self-defence – it’s a path to personal growth, resilience, and community.
You’ll join a group of like-minded women who support each other’s journeys – on and off the mats. Whether your goal is fitness, self-defence, or simply trying something new, GBF is your first step into the world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Our GBF Program has a curriculum structured to suit beginners, yet flexible enough to challenge those with previous Jiu-Jitsu experience. Every class is an opportunity to grow stronger, more confident, and more connected with your body and mind.
Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated during training.
Wear activewear like shorts, leggings, and a t-shirt that allows you to move freely. A Gracie Barra Gi and rashguard will be provided for your introductory class.
Flip-flops or sandals make it easy to keep the mats clean and transition in and out of class quickly.
Come ready to learn, have fun, and challenge yourself. Everyone starts somewhere, and our team is here to support you.

My son truly loves these classes, and they’ve helped him so much with communication, learning respect, and interacting with other kids. He started when he was just 3 years old, and we’ve seen such positive growth in him since then. It’s been amazing to watch his confidence develop, and we genuinely believe these classes are building great skills that will benefit him for years to come. Awesome training with the instructor Carlos. I deeply recommend.Posted on Google gary heshikiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I've been taking my daughter here for a few months now, it's been enjoyable to watch her progress The coaches here take the time to work with each child based on where they are currently at. To me that's such an important aspect of coaching because it could easily go into a more authoritative style which may turn away kids from an activity that is beneficial to them. The progression is great for children to grow as they have a few groups for different age groups. Clases tend to not be too large, yet, and allows for a good ratio of student to instructors. I highly recommend giving them a try, which they will let your kid come a few times as a free trial.Posted on Google Husein PrawirasoetisnaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
