My son truly loves these classes, and they’ve helped him so much with communication, learning respect, and interacting with other kids. He started when he was just 3 years old, and we’ve seen such positive growth in him since then. It’s been amazing to watch his confidence develop, and we genuinely believe these classes are building great skills that will benefit him for years to come. Awesome training with the instructor Carlos. I deeply recommend.Posted on Google gary heshikiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I've been taking my daughter here for a few months now, it's been enjoyable to watch her progress The coaches here take the time to work with each child based on where they are currently at. To me that's such an important aspect of coaching because it could easily go into a more authoritative style which may turn away kids from an activity that is beneficial to them. The progression is great for children to grow as they have a few groups for different age groups. Clases tend to not be too large, yet, and allows for a good ratio of student to instructors. I highly recommend giving them a try, which they will let your kid come a few times as a free trial.Posted on Google Husein PrawirasoetisnaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. No. Our self-defense classes are beginner-friendly and designed to help you learn step by step. You do not need to be fit, flexible, or have any martial arts background to begin.
At Gracie Barra Artarmon, you’ll learn in a structured and supportive environment, with instructors guiding you safely from your very first class.
Yes. Jiu-Jitsu is one of the most practical martial arts for self-defense because it teaches you how to stay calm, create distance, control pressure, and protect yourself even against a stronger opponent.
Instead of relying on strength or aggression, Jiu-Jitsu focuses on technique, leverage, awareness, and confidence.
You don’t need to be in shape to start. Jiu-Jitsu helps you build fitness naturally as you train.
Many students begin with no previous exercise routine. The classes are designed to help you improve your strength, coordination, confidence, and conditioning at your own pace.
Yes. Safety is a priority at Gracie Barra Artarmon. Classes are structured, supervised, and taught progressively, so beginners can learn without feeling overwhelmed.
You’ll practice techniques in a controlled environment with guidance from experienced instructors.
No. Jiu-Jitsu is for everyday people — adults, beginners, parents, professionals, and anyone who wants to feel more confident and prepared.
You don’t need to be athletic to start. The goal is to help you build real skills, confidence, discipline, and self-control over time.
You can begin learning useful concepts from your first classes, such as posture, distance, awareness, and basic control.
Like any real skill, confidence and self-defense ability improve with consistency. The more you train, the more prepared and confident you become in different situations.
